New lecturer, Manuchehr Soleimani, appointed to the Department
Dr Manuchehr Soleimani obtained a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in inverse problems and electromagnetic tomography in August 2005 from the University of Manchester UK. He worked as a post-doc research associate at the school of materials at the University of Manchester, between August 2005 and June 2007, where he had developed a range of wearable sensors and medical textiles. He is also a consultant (and co-founder) of a California based medical device company. He also worked as a PDRA in electronics and electrical engineering (EEE) at the University of Bath from June 2007 to May 2008.
