Department joins the IET Power Academy
In recognition of the Department's exellence in teaching and research in the
field of power and energy systems, from
today the University of Bath joins the prestigious IET
Power Academy. The Power Academy consists of seven top UK universities in this field now including
the University of Bath.
The aim of the Power Academy is to bring together leading universities and major power-sector organisations to develop an engineering scholarship fund. This fund provides electrical & electronic and electrical power engineering undergraduates with support and finance throughout their university degree programmes.
The Department will initially have around twenty scholarships available beginning October 2008. Details of how to apply can be found here.
What is a Power Academy scholarship worth?
- A bursary of £2,200 for each year of study
