Welcome to NCEPU students
The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is delighted to
welcome students from
North China Electric Power University (NCEPU)
in Beijing and Baoding, China, for the fourth year running.
The students are half way through a 2+2 programme where they spend their first two years studying at NCEPU, then join the BEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering programme at Bath for a further two years. They will graduate with two degrees, one from Bath and the other from NCEPU.
Staff from the Department were at Heathrow Airport to welcome the students and bring them safely to Bath and they are now receiving a tailored induction programme.
Dr Martin Balchin, Director of
Studies for the 2+2 programme, said: “Once again, we are very pleased to welcome a large group of
students from NCEPU. It is a pleasure to have such enthusiastic and hard working students in the
department and we hope they enjoy their time in Bath.”
The students will now join in with Freshers’ events taking place in the Department and
University as a whole over the coming weeks.
