Dr Ali Mohammadi

PhDm MSc, BSc, MIEE

Profile

Dr Mohammadi joined the Department in February 2017.  Before then he was  a postdoctoral researcher at departments of Engineering Science, University of Oxford (2016-2017) and Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Monash University, Australia (2014-2016). His research addresses key interdisciplinary challenges in micro/nano-electromechanical transducers and electronic interface circuits. Example projects include on-chip atomic force microscopy, implantable energy harvesters and high precision coupled resonator sensors M/NEMS. He is a member of IEEE Circuit and System (CAS) society.

Research

Dr Mohammadi researchs Standard design methods for Nanoelectromechanical Systems (NEMS) in collaboration with Microelectronic Circuits and Devices group at University of Oxford and magneto-mechanical memory devices in collaboration with RFID labs at Monash University.
