2+2 joint education programme

NCEPU student sitting at her desk in University accommodationSince October 2008, students from the North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) have been able to study for a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Bath.

Typical entry requirements

  • 80% in technical subjects in years 1 and 2 at NCEPU and IELTS 6.5

OR

  • 85% in technical subjects in years 1 and 2 and IELTS 6.0

Students can study either Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering. These, and all our degree programmes, are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the professional body for this subject in the UK.

The department will meet all 2+2 students at the airport when they arrive in the UK and arrange their travel to Bath. The University organises International Student Orientation to give you important information and help you to feel at home.
