| Committee | Remit |
| Board of Studies | The Board of Studies is responsible to the University Senate for all matters relating to the organisation of education, teaching and research in the Faculty. Under delegated powers from Senate, it is responsible for the approval of awards and decisions relating to the progression of students. |
| Faculty Executive Committee | The Faculty Executive Committee advises the Dean on all Faculty matters relating to student recruitment and admissions, staffing, strategic and financial planning, monitoring and review of the performance and activities of the faculty in relation to learning, teaching, research and enterprise, resource requirements, and academic quality in research and teaching. |
| Faculty Learning, Teaching and Quality Committee | The Faculty Learning, Teaching and Quality Committee is responsible to the Board of Studies for all matters relating to undergraduate and postgraduate learning, teaching, and quality assurance in the Faculty. |
| Faculty Research Committee | The Faculty Research Committee is responsible to the Board of Studies for the academic standards and quality of the Faculty’s research and ‘reach-out’ activities. |
| Faculty Research Students' Committee | The Faculty Research Students’ Committee is responsible to the Board of Studies for overseeing all matters concerning postgraduate research students in the Faculty. |
