Henrietta is a tutor for the MSc in Integrated Environmental Management.
Henrietta graduated with an MSc in Integrated Environmental Management at the University of Bath in 2006. In 2012, she joined the degree programme as a tutor to the new optional unit on Climate Impact Adaptation and has also tutored the Sustainable Development Unit. Henrietta understands from first-hand experience how much hard work is required to study for this degree and consequently is proud to have received her Masters from the University of Bath.
In 2012, Henrietta set up an environmental consultancy business working for the University of Bath, as well as also working self-employed, running a planning consultancy. Before this, Henrietta spent 20 years in industry. She started out in banking before taking on environmental roles in construction. From 2009 to 2012, Henrietta worked in the defence sector as Head of Environmental Sustainability at BAE Systems.
She has a lot of experience working in corporates with all levels of management and the executive both in the UK and the USA and has managed a number of change projects and large legislative based projects. Henrietta also mentors members of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) to become chartered environmentalists.
With her experience in industry and having graduated in the programme at the University of Bath, she felt she could make a valuable contribution to the MSc in Integrated Environmental Management.
