Steven Arnold

Profile

Steven is the tutor of the Cost Benefit Analysis module for the MSc in Integrated Environmental Management (by distance learning).  He is also an environmental economist at the Environment Agency, where he specialises in the valuation of water and land resources.  His role at the Agency is to assess and communicate the key aspects of cost benefit analysis.

Before joining the Environment Agency, Steven worked at the University of Bath as a researcher and teacher in Economics, as well as working for a private environmental economic consultancy in Bath.  He has worked on a wide range of projects covering all sorts of environmental issues, from climate change to waste management, via social sustainability indicators and energy security.
