Profile
Paul is a part-time lead tutor of the Environmental Management and Assessment module for the MSc in Integrated Environment Management (by distance learning).
Paul qualified with a degree in Botany from the University of Manchester in 1973. After five years carrying out research in the health service he joined Colgate Palmolive, where he worked on product development and manufacturing scale-up. He then moved to SC Johnson Professional working, initially, on development of new cleaning products and later moving to become Regulatory and Environmental Affairs Manager.
More recently he has been working in the Greater London Authority group in managing environmental and sustainable development programmes for the London Fire Brigade. He has experience in implementing environmental management systems in the areas of manufacturing, marketing and public authorities. As an environmental manager with the S.C.Johnson family of companies he has worked at both European and global levels.
