The Balanced Living Group

The Balanced Living Group is a friendly support group for any and all staff who want to work towards a balance between their responsibilities at home and at work. Members may, but do not have to be, parents or carers. Some may have experienced or be working to prevent stress at work or at home. Some may be returning to work after a period of absence, for maternity, sickness or compassionate leave.

Members support each other by exchanging information and experiences. As a Group, members are able to work with the University to raise the profile of issues connected with work-life balance, family friendly working, and workplace stress.
