Athena SWAN Successful Submission - University of Bath 2009

The Athena SWAN Charter recognises and celebrates good employment practice for women working in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) in higher education and research.

We are delighted to report that the University of Bath was successful init's submission for a bronze award. The University demonstrated it's commitment to meet the 6 principles of Athena SWAN and provided brief details about what actions have been taken and future plans in relation to gender equality within STEMM.

We would like to thank everyone for their contribution to the University's submissionWord.

The award was collected by Dr Araxi Urrutia & Marlene Bertrand on 29th September 2009 at the Athena Swan awards ceremony which was held at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
