Athena SWAN bronze renewal award submission consultation
The Athena SWAN Charter recognises and celebrates good employment practice for women working in
science, engineering and technology (SET) in higher education and research. Membership of
Athena SWAN is a demonstration that we adhere to principles to promote opportunities for women in
SET. You can read more about Athena SWAN
here.
We will be applying later in 2012 to renew the Athena SWAN bronze award the University
currently holds. Please read the draft submission
here
which has been prepared by the Athena SWAN
self-assessment team (which has representation from all SET departments). The team would
welcome views from across the university. If you have any comments please therefore
send them to
Marlene Bertrand by 14 September 2012.
We will take all comments into consideration in deciding on the final document to be sent to
Athena SWAN.
