https://secure.bath.ac.uk/prospectus/cgi-bin/applications.pl

Please follow the link to our application form: www.bath.ac.uk/prospectus/postgrad/apply/.

Please send a small photograph by post to Frieda Buckley, ESML, University of Bath, Bath, BA2 7AY. Scanned photographs will not be accepted.

The following documents need to be submitted on line with the application
form:

If you have not obtained your degree certificate and final transcript because you are still studying, you can submit copies of these to the Graduate Office as soon as you have obtained them. Please submit a copy of the transcript with marks obtained so far with your application.

On receipt of the on line application, if we decide to test you, candidates will be sent a username and password enabling them to download the assessment pack. Candidates whose assessment is of a sufficiently high standard will be invited for interview.

PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION PACK WITHOUT A COPY OF AN IELTS 7 CERTIFICATE (PREFERRED), A TOEFL 260 OR 620 CERTIFICATE OR A TOEFL 100 INTERNET BASED CERTIFICATE. APPLICATION PACKS WITHOUT AN IELTS 7, TOEFL 260 /620 OR TOEFL 100 INTERNET BASED CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU ORGANISE AN IELTS TEST (PREFERABLY) OR A TOEFL TEST AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE SO YOU CAN OBTAIN THE IELTS 7 CERTIFICATE (OR THE TOEFL CERTIFICATE) BEFORE YOU SEND IN YOUR APPLICATION FORM. PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE THE CERTIFICATE SEVERAL WEEKS AFTER YOU TAKE THE TEST AND THAT WE ONLY PROCEED WITH YOUR APPLICATION IF YOU HAVE SENT US A COPY OF THE IELTS CERTIFICATE.

Please ensure the IELTS testing centre send the original certificate to you as you will need to submit it to the visa authorities.

Home/EU fee paying students can request to be considered for AHRC funding. The University will then rank the applications of those wishing to be considered for AHRC funding and those selected will be informed towards the end of April and will then be asked to fill in a form so their details can be forwarded to the AHRC who will make the final decision about allocating funding. If you wish to be considered for AHRC funding then you must apply for our course before the end of January.

Once your application has been acknowledged by the Graduate Office, you will be contacted by
