Orders for Estates work (interim procedure)
1 August 2007 - New procedures on the introduction of Agresso
As you are aware the Lawson era came to an end in July, and as a result there were some changes necessary to our procedures for dealing with rechargeable works.
From 01 August 2007, all requests for charged Estates work have to be submitted by Internal Order on the Agresso system. All requests for non chargeable maintenance work should be directed via email to the Estates Help Desk. In an emergency, calls may be made to extn 3232.

All old style Lawson Work Requests open for posting activities in Lawson as at 31 July 2007 were automatically transferred to Agresso. Future costs incurred by Estates against these activities will be transferred to appropriate cost centre accounts by manual recharge journal when the works are complete - not by auto recharge journal at month end. This is an overhead to Estates but is seen as the simplest way without having to request new Internal Orders for each item of carried over work.
Residential Housekeepers Work Requests are now input electronically onto Archibus by the Housekeepers themselves. The new system was implemented with effect from Friday 21 September 2007. The training notes can be viewed from here. (NB - Requests have to be channelled through the Housekeepers, occupiers of residential rooms do not have access to the reporting system themselves.)
Estimates - Any requests for Estimates should be submitted using the existing Work Request form for an interim period only. If the estimate incurs costs, you will be advised and requested to submit an internal order.
