Mandatory Fire Door Inspections - The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order

There will be mandatory fire door inspections conducted at the University in order to comply with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. The inspections will be conducted on all bar coded fire doors in academic buildings between Monday, 15 January - Friday, 9 February. read more »

Snow and gritting arrangements on campus

In icy weather conditions, the University is committed to ensuring that major roads and footpaths across campus are accessible, as far as is practicable. Department of Estates's staff will endeavour to start salting and clearing the campus from 8am on weekdays - this will be dependent on them being able to get to the campus themselves. read more »

Live lift status reports and information

From Thursday, 1 June 2017 you will be able to access a live lift status report. The report will inform you which lifts are operational as well as information about specific lifts at the university. read more »
