Electrical ServicesThe Electrical Services section is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations, including general lighting, emergency lighting, external lighting (including car parks and road lighting), power, intruder and door access equipment, fire alarms and lifts within on-site and off-site buildings (either owned or leased), are maintained and safe to use. Our aim is to ensure that all electrical services are installed to the correct standards, function efficiently, reliably and safely. In addition to responding to reported faults, the section aims to ensure that a large proportion of its works is planned, preventative maintenance involving regular inspections and checks to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and good practice. The electrical section is led by Richard Hughes.
