Maintenance Responsibilities

The Department of Estates' budget is used for the maintenance and repairs of existing building fabric, central services and landscapes. It does not cover departmental machinery and equipment maintenance; Estates' budget does allow for expenditure up to and including electrical isolators.

The maintenance list below gives a guide to what we are responsible for, but it is not exhaustive, the final arbitration being at the discretion of the Director of Estates.
