Important things to know

  • The Red Devils display will be taking place at midday - don't miss it!
  • You don't need to book to attend the festival - just turn up on the day. We do have some talks and tours that are pre-bookable. See below for more details on how to guarantee a space.
  • Age restrictions apply to some activities, these will be clearly highlighted.
  • The festival will have lots on offer for children, including a sticker trail. Grab your gorgon's head mask and map when you arrive.

Talks and tours

We have a programme of free pre-bookable talks and tours taking place throughout the day. Have a look at the timetable of pre-bookable activities to see which you'd like to book onto and then follow the link to register. You can also click on the register link at the top or bottom of this page.

There will also be a number of activities to enjoy that you do not need to book on to, just turn up on the day.

On the day

When you arrive on campus you will find Welcome Points located at the East Car Park and at the bus stop. Here you can grab a programme and our student ambassadors, wearing our Festival t-shirts, will be on hand to welcome and guide you. Our Student Ambassadors can also help families get around campus.

Baby changing facilities and quieter feeding areas will be available.

Pet dogs are not permitted at the Festival, with the exception of assistance dogs supporting those with a disability.

One thing we can’t plan for is the weather. Please check the forecast and come prepared.

Food and drink

As with any good festival we will have a range of refreshments to buy. From BBQ's and smoothie bikes, to candyfloss and test-tube cocktails! Our bars and eateries will be open on campus and can cater for a range of dietary requirements. You are also welcome to bring your own food as we have plenty of picnic areas.

Travelling to the Festival

The best way to get to the Festival will be via the free Uni bus service U1, kindly provided by First, to and from Bath City Centre.

A limited amount of parking will be available on site at our East car park.
