Consultancies, short courses and royalties

General introduction

Consultancies, short courses, conferences and royalty accounts are external income generating activities handled, from an accounting viewpoint, within the Research and External Activities section of the Finance Office. In each case a specific activity is set up in the appropriate accounts range.

The procedures for setting up the activity, invoicing for the income, disbursing from that income and then closing the account are set out below for each of the areas in turn.
