Astrid Forsyth
Astrid Forsyth started teaching at the Foreign Languages Centre in 2000 and was appointed as Team Leader for German in 2008. Originally from Northern Germany, she holds a teaching degree from the University of Hildesheim for Primary Education. Astrid has been teaching in all programmes of the Foreign Languages Centre: undergraduate, postgraduate and community. She has also cooperated in Routes into Languages and other outreach programmes of the Centre.
Elke Pawlowski
Elke Pawlowski has been teaching at the Foreign Languages Centre since 1995. She is originally from Wilhelmshaven in Northern Germany and she studied English and American Studies at the University of Bremen. Elke worked as an archaeological assistant with the Scottish Urban Archaelogical Trust before starting her career in teaching German as a foreign language. Since then, she has been teaching adults and in secondary schools. She is a committee member of the Bath German Society.
