Anna Simandiraki-Grimshaw

Anna Simandiraki Grimshaw joined the Foreign Languages Centre in 2005. Originally from Crete, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Crete, Greece,  in Archaeology and History of Art. She later obtained a Masters in Mediterranean Archaeology and a PhD in Minoan Archaeology from the University of Bristol.

From 2003 to 2009 she worked at the University of Bath as International Baccalaureate Research Fellow. She also worked as Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cincinnati in 2009.

In addition to teaching Greek at the Foreign Languages Centre, Anna also researches, teaches and publishes in Aegean Archaeology, as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Kent and as a Panel Tutor at the Continuing Education Departments of the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
