Course Director

Isabella Stefanutti

Isabella Stefanutti is the Course Director for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Language Options and for the Courses for the General Public . She joined the Foreign Languages Centre in 2008. She studied European Studies and Modern Languages at University College Dublin and, after qualifying as a teacher, she taught at the Belfast Metropolitan College and at the University of Bath. Prior to her teaching role, she worked as a Marketing Agent for Tourism Ireland in Belfast, promoting the island of Ireland to European visitors and working actively on advertising campaigns. Isabella is also the Project Coordinator for Routes into Languages at the University of Bath, representing Bath in the South West and nationally.

Administrators

Shirley Batchelor

Shirley Batchelor is responsible for the administration of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Languages Option Programme. She is the first point of contact for general enquiries from students and offers guidance and advice regarding appropriate levels for language courses as well as availability, times and venues of classes. Shirley deals with student enrolments, exam mark entry and unit board administration.A member of the FLC team since September 2008, Shirley works full-time and is available to deal with enquiries from Monday to Friday during office hours. Shirley continues to progress her own language skills and regularly attends the Foreign Languages Centre French evening classes.

Tracey Brend

Tracey Brend is responsible for the administration of the General Public and Lunchtime Foreign Languages Programme and looks after all matters concerning enrolments and payments. She is the first point of contact for enquiries from members of the public and staff and is happy to provide information on our courses. A member of the FLC team since April 2008, Tracey works part-time and is available to answer your calls and emails from Monday to Thursday, 9.30am to 2pm. Tracey has always had an interest in foreign languages and has a joint honours degree in French and German from Leicester University.
