Li Peng 

Li Peng joined the Foreign Languages Centre in September 2011. Li was born in China and obtained a MA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at Beijing Languages and Culture University. She has taught Chinese at all levels at several universities in the UK since 2007 and she co-wrote the textbook 'Discover China - An Essential Reader of Chinese Culture' which will be published in 2012.

 

Jurong Zheng

Jurong Zheng joined the Foreign Languages Centre in September 2010. Originally from Shanghai, Jurong obtained a MBA from the Cass Business School in London and a PhD in International Business at the University of Reading. Jurong worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Bath between 1996 and 2009. In addition to her teaching at the Foreign Languages Centre, Jurong also teaches Chinese to school age children at Bath Chinese School and works part-time for the NHS.

 

Daisy Zhu

Daisy Zhu joined the Foreign Languages Centre in September 2012.
Daisy was born in China but she has spent 20 years studying and working in the UK. She obtained a MSc in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford and a DPhil in Linguistics from the University of York. She has taught Chinese at all levels in the UK since 1995. In addition to teaching, Daisy also works as a freelance translator. 
 

Dan Li Dunford

Dan Li Dunford joined the Foreign Languages Centre in September 2012. She trained as an English teacher at the North-East Teacher's University in Changchun and obtained a PGCE in Secondary Business Education and a MBA Degree in the UK. After having worked in the Import-Export Sector in China for over 10 years, shje now lectures in Mandarin Chinese language and Culture and Business Chinese.
