Laura Izaguirre
Laura Izaguirre joined the Foreign Languages Centre in 2001. She is originally from Argentina and graduated as a foreign language teacher at the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. She is also trained as an interpreter and worked freelance in Buenos Aires for a number of years. She is a very enthusiastic teacher who encourages students to become confident with Spanish whilst having fun.
Asun Solano
Asun Solano joined the Foreign Languages Centre in 1996. She is originally from Aragon in Spain. Asun teaches Spanish at all levels to undergraduate and postgraduate students on the Institution-Wide Languages Programme at the University of Bath. She also has teaching experience on the MA in Interpreting and Translation. Asun is an Associate of the Higher Education Academy.
Yolanda Frutos Toledo
Yolanda Frutos Toledo joined the Foreign Languages Centre in September 2011. Originally from Ciudad Real, she has a BA in History of Art and a MA in Historical Heritage from the University of Salamanca. She obtained a PGCE in the UK. Before joining the Foreign Languages Centre she has been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for a number of years at Bristol College. She is also an examiner for the International Baccalaureate.
