Summer Award Ceremonies

The summer 2013 Award Ceremonies will be held on Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd & Thursday 4th July 2013.

All eligible graduands (please see student eligibility section) completing a course between 24th November 2012 and 26th June 2013 will be able to attend these ceremonies as long as they have responded to the invitation by the deadline. Graduands eligible for these ceremonies will not be allowed to defer to a later ceremony and therefore, if you do not attend your designated ceremony you will graduate “in absentia” and will be sent your certificate later.

A summary of what you need to do to attend your Award Ceremony:

Please email ceremonies@bath.ac.uk if you have any questions or need to update your certificate delivery address

Attending:

• Complete 'invitation to ceremony' webform on SAMIS on the web. (Now closed)
• Arrange gown hire .
• Order photographs in advance.

Not Attending:

• Use the 'invitation to ceremony' webform on SAMIS on the web to change your attendance details to "not attending". (Now closed)
• Update you address in the webform to an address you would like your certificate posted to after the ceremonies have taken place.

Not Completeing:

• Use the 'invitation to ceremony' webform on SAMIS on the web to change your attendance details to "will not complete by 26th June 2013 " (Now closed)

Information of what to do on the day of the ceremony and what you need to wear can be found under our procedures and guidance section

Graduands and their guests should be aware that the graduation ceremonies are regarded as public events. Names will be published in the ceremony programme. Audio and visual images of the ceremony are publically available via the internet and through use of screens within the Abbey.
