We offer three levels in Italian, Beginner, Lower Intermediate and Advanced.
You should enrol on this course if you have a basic knowledge of Italian. This level is not suitable for those who have never studied Italian before. If you are a complete beginner, contact us.
At the end of this course, you will:
have had an introduction to the language (pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar)
be confident in talking about every day topics, such as food, free time, holidays, daily routine
have learnt about Italian culture and society
You should enrol on this course if you have completed the Beginners level with us. Alternatively, you can join this course if you have a GCSE or are at A1 level in the CEFR.
At the end of this course, you will be able:
to express opinions and engage in conversation on a number of familiar topics
to understand simple written texts on familiar matters
to write short texts related to familiar topics
You should enrol on this course if you are proficient in Italian: you might have lived in Italy, for instance, or be at B2/C1 in the CEFR.
If you attend this course you will be able to practise Italian on a weekly basis by working with complex written materials (including advanced grammar and idioms), often of an abstract nature, and to engage in a variety of speaking and listening activities.

New students are welcome at the beginning of each term., so you can join a course even if you have not studied with us before, provided you are at the right level.
