Profile
Dr Brian Blacklidge qualified in 1975 and subsequently took up post as GP in North Yorkshire in 1979. He has been an accredited GPSI in MSk medicine since 2002.
He is currently Medical Officer at Middlesbrough Football Club (senior squad and Academy), a role he has enjoyed for several years.
He has been involved in the MSc Sport and Exercise Medicine programme since 2006, and was appointed as Clinical Teaching Fellow in 2010. He is also responsible for the delivery of the Sports Doctor and Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation modules.
