Department for Health

Applicant Visit Days

What are Applicant Visit Days?

Applicant Visit Days are for students who have received an offer from the University, and wish to take a closer look at the Department before finalising their UCAS choices.

Applicants will be contacted by us once an offer has been processed and will receive a choice of visit dates.

Travelling to the Applicant Visit Day

If you are coming to one of our Applicant Visit Days there will be a free bus service from Lansdown Park & Ride to the campus.

What happens on the Applicant Visit Day?

The Applicant Visit Day consists of:

  • Welcome by the Admissions Tutor and introduction to the course of study and core disciplines
  • Lunch
  • Campus tour led by current students
  • A chance to meet staff and students informally which provides a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have

Other opportunities to visit us

We also hold University Open Days which are much larger and aimed at students prior to UCAS application.
