Bath Coaching Academy

The Bath Coaching Academy has been set up to support, enhance and disseminate good ideas through a community of practice. This will be a supportive peer network for staff involved in coaching in the following capacities:

  • Accredited Internal Coaches who support individuals.
  • Managers using 'coaching conversation' skills with their colleagues in their everyday work. (see below)
  • Professional, accredited external coaches who are on our register.

Membership is free. As with any professional discipline, we will be supporting members of the academy with continuing professional development (CPD) events.

For further information contact us.

Access to internal and external coaches for staff through the University of Bath's Coaching Service

Coaching Managers

Alumni of the 'Developing Management Skills' Programme (DMS) are invited to join the Academy as they have completed a 'Coaching and Developing Individuals and Teams’ module and practised these skills in the workplace. Every year, they rate this module as the ‘most enjoyable’ and ‘most relevant’ and describe the impact of coaching to their practice and teams.

If you are interested in learning more about coaching skills without attending the full DMS programme, we run a one day 'coaching conversations' course open to all staff.
