What am I obliged to do?

Some courses are mandatory for all staff with particular roles, others are strongly recommended for all staff.

Depending on your role and department, you may also need to complete additional training - please speak to your Line Manager.

Research Integrity Online course

Mandatory for all researchers: academic staff and research staff must do this module or otherwise satisfy their HOS of equivalent competence.

Other staff, for example, professional staff supporting research and teaching fellows, are encouraged to complete

Mental Health First Aid Face-to-face course

The course is especially recommended for Resident Tutors, Senior Tutors, Personal Tutors and staff in Security due to the nature of their roles.

It is also recommended for members of staff who have line management responsibilities.

Staff Development

If you are a Line Manager or Head of Department you will also periodically receive a Training Compliance report to help you monitor and ensure compliance.
