Scholarships & studentships
- Scholarships contribute towards the Tuition Fees.
- Studentships cover the cost of Tuition Fees and they can also include a Stipend (living expenses).
|UK Government Postgraduate Loans Scheme||A new system of postgraduate loans for Masters courses will be introduced from 2016. These provide up to £10,000 a year for taught Masters courses in all subject areas.||Further information|
|University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme||There are 75 scholarships worth £3,000 each in the University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (UoBISS). These are for international fee-paying full-time taught master's applicants from any country and for any subject area.
|Bursaries||We are also offering 30 bursaries of £6,000 as part of the University of Bath Postgraduate Taught Bursary Scheme. These are available to home students on full-time or part-time taught masters programmes.||Further information|
|Santander Masters Scholarships for students in Latin America||There are five Santander Masters Scholarships each worth £5,000 for international fee-paying full-time taught master’s applicants for any subject area.
Students must be a graduate of a university in the Santander network in one of the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.
|Graduate School Scholarships||There are 20 Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences scholarships each worth £2,000 for international fee-paying full-time taught master's applicants from any country for MA/MSc programmes in Humanities and Social Sciences.
|Euromasters Scholarship||A limited number of competitive fee reduction scholarships are available in recognition of high academic achievement (the equivalent of a first class Honours degree or, exceptionally, a high 2:1 degree).
We offer two scholarships for the MA Contemporary European Studies (Euromasters) for 2015/16 entry:

|Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Scheme (CSSS) Awards||Students from Commonwealth countries studying the following programmes are eligible to apply:
You must complete an application in the Commonwealth EAS system, you must also mention that you want to be considered for the award in the application form when you apply for your chosen course
Once CSSS awardees have submitted their dissertation for examination, they must return home within two weeks of completing their studies. Attending the graduation ceremony is not part of the award. Further information is on the Commonwealth Scholarships website.

|Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services (ELCAS)||Current and ex-service personnel from the Ministry of Defence can apply for discounts for the following programmes:

|Global Study Awards||These awards offer up to £10,000 to finance your tuition fee and living expenses if you intend to study abroad.||Apply online|
|Postgrad Solutions Study Bursaries||If you are starting a postgraduate course in the academic year 2016-17 you are eligible to apply for a Postgrad Solutions Study Bursary. Each bursary is worth £500 and they are open to students from anywhere in the world.||Apply online|
