Although Alison Marchant’s work may at first appear very different from that of Gob Squad, they share a fascination with particular histories and spaces that are either disappearing or have already disappeared. To mark the opening of Alison Marchant’s exhibition Charged Atmospheres and the performance of Gob Squad’s Kitchen (You’ve Never Had It So Good) this seminar teased out themes around spatialisation, documentation and historical moment.
