ICIA’s artist-in-residence Tom Marshman came clean in a laundrette, transforming the laundrette in Eastwood into a tearoom, a salon and a talking shop.
It was a chance to ponder, share washing tips and take part in a quick fire quiz round for laundry symbols/instructions and airing dirty washing in public.
Tom also created a short bespoke performance for the laundrette, which he performed on a regular cycle.
