Costing for Avionic Through-Life Availability

This is a collaborative project, led by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath, and involving Loughborough University and Bristol Business School, UWE. The industrial partners are BAE Systems (Military Air Solutions), Defence Equipment and Support (part of the MoD) and GE Aviation Systems. Two international leading research groups are also engaged from University of Maryland and Georgia Tech. Although this is a multi-institute research project the work-programme is fully integrated and candidates will be expected to work as a cohesive team, so team working and excellent communication skills are essential.
