MSc, PGDip and Access Route Fees
The fees for students enrolled on or after 1 August 2011 are as outlined below.
- MSc £8,890
- PGDip £7,975
Stage 1 £2,430 (initial registration, 2 Units and Introductory Workshop)
Stage 2 £2,185 (2 units and Residential School)
Stage 3 £2,185 (2 units and Residential School)
Stage 4 £1,480 (2 units)
Stage 5 £1,000 (Dissertation and Dissertation Workshop - MSc only)
Programme fees are revised annually. The instalments outlined above are based on the current schedule and serve as an illustration only. Students who elect to pay by instalment will pay the stage fee applicable at the time of enrolment on the relevant programme stage.
Fees include:
- registration and administration (including access to library and computing service facilities)
- teaching materials, workbooks, textbooks and assignments
- academic and personal tutoring
- tuition at residential schools
- assignment marking and examination fees
- dissertation supervision and marking (MSc only)
- graduation
Fees do not include:
- travel and accommodation for residential sessions, except for the Sustainable Development Residential School where accommodation is included;
- administration and venue fees for exams taken overseas

If students transfer from the Access Route, or from CPD, all fees that have already been paid will be deducted from the cost of the MSc or Postgraduate Diploma course.
