Our system of safety management Safety Policies |
The health and safety policies and practices of the University are embodied in their full form in the University Safety Policy (available on the internet at http://internal.bath.ac.uk/safety/safetypolicy.htm and the University Safety Manual (available on the internet at http://internal.bath.ac.uk/safety/safetymanual.htm or from the Safety Unit: safety@bath.ac.uk, Wessex House 3.13, 01225 388388 Extension 6834. (The policy document is also available upon request in other formats such as large font, Braille or electronically.)
The Department of Biology and Biochemistry aims to provide staff and students with similar levels of protection and has produced a full policy for staff, visiting researchers and postgraduate students which includes the Local Rules (including emergency procedures, responsibilities and other arrangements and information) and a shorter version for undergraduate students. All departmental members receive paper copies of the relevant policy. |
