Airmail

Airmail can take up to 3 days to reach European destinations and up to 10 days for Rest of the World. These are Royal Mail average delivery times and do not take into account local events such as floods, strikes etc.

Letters & Postcards
2 kg maximum weight. Personal items, anything that would normally be sent in the post.

Small Packet
2 kg maximum weight (1kg to Saudi Arabia). Goods, gifts and commercial samples. Simply write 'Small Packet' on the front and attach a Customs (CN22) declaration. Please fill out a customs declaration when sending anything apart from papers and letters.

Printed Paper
2 to 5 kg maximum weight. Books, magazines newspapers, leaflets and other non-personalised printed items. Personal letters should not be included.

Air Parcel
For anything over 2 kg being sent abroad, please contact ext 5748 or mail@bath.ac.uk.

Overseas mail not marked 'Airmail' will be sent Surface Mail.

Airsure®

Mail is dispatched on the next available flight and receives priority handling both here and abroad.

Check your mail's progress at despatch and the point of delivery through Royal Mail’s online Track and Trace feature.

Compensation cover up to £30, with additional cover available for £1.50 extra.

International Signed For

Items dispatched on the first available flight. All International destinations. Signature at point of delivery only. Can be used with Surface Mail.

Compensation cover up to £500 (depending on which country your mail is sent to), with additional cover available for £1.50 extra.
