Includes a walking tour of Reims – 11th century Basilica of St Remi, 13th century Gothic Cathedral where generations of French kings were crowned, Tau Palace and Roman Forum. Visit to the cellars of Mumm Champagne Company with tasting. Optional excursion to nearby Chalonsen-Champagne with medieval quarter and half-timbered houses, cobbled alleyways and canals overhung with trees. Tour of the stunning Champagne region with visit to Epernay for a paddle boat cruise along the River Marne plus guided tours to a Vineyard and Champagne Cellar, the chocolate factory Chocolaterie Thibaul and – oh joy of joys – a Snail Factory!
