Schooling
Pre-school age children - Westwood
Nursery on campus is for children from 6 months to 4 years
and is a safe and stimulating place for all children. The nursery
also offers playschemes during vacation time. Places are limited,
so please make enquiries before you arrive in Bath. Please note,
the nursery is not free – there is a charge and it can be
expensive.
For information about schools, nurseries, childminders, holiday playschemes,
places to take your children in Bath etc. the Family
Information Service is very helpful.
Schools - If your child
was born between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009 he/she is
able to start school in September 2013.
You must have accommodation in Bath before you can be considered for a place.
It is possible to make a late application when you arrive in the summer. You will need to contact the Schools Admissions department of the local council.
English language support is offered by schools as appropriate - the school will assess your child's English language ability once they have started at the school.
