Dr Hannah Durrant

Hannah obtained her PhD in Social and Policy Science from the University of Bath in 2012. She is an experienced social policy researcher and project manager that has worked in both academic and policy/practice settings. She has an established track record in winning grant awards from both UK and EU research and intervention funds.

Hannah’s role within the IPR includes developing interdisciplinary research capacity, reinforcing the connections between the policy world and our research, and building public engagement.

Hannah can help you by:

• Working with and supporting IPR theme groups to build interdisciplinary research capacity
• Identifying interdisciplinary research opportunities that address major policy challenges
• Supporting the development of research teams and funding bids
• Identifying and communicating potential connections between IPR research and the policy world
• Producing IPR Policy Briefs and Research Summaries
• Co-ordinating IPR events from small scale local seminars, to mini sand-pits, conferences and larger scale public engagement events
• IPR Finance
