Visiting Fellowship opportunity at the University of Bath Institute for Policy Research
9 July 2013
During the academic year 2013/14, we are seeking a high profile academic, from a leading US university, to spend up to three months at our newly established Institute for Policy Research.
About the Visiting Fellowship
The funding for this fellowship has been provided by the University of Bath, US alumni network.
We are looking for applicants from any discipline; however you must be involved in current national and international policy debates.
Our Institute for Policy Research is focused on inter-disciplinary research and we would be interested in making an appointment that would provide originality and inspiration in analysing complex policy problems.
If successful, you will be expected to give a public lecture to which leading policy makers and academics in the United Kingdom will be invited, as well as interact with colleagues from the Institute and postgraduate students. This may take the form of a seminar series or other modes of interaction.
Our Institute also has a programme of policy briefs, and if appointed as the Visiting Fellow, you would be expected to contribute to a policy brief.
There is up to $14,000 available for flights, accommodation and an honorarium: the time spent at the University of Bath will be negotiable.
