About this workshop

Description

On this course you have the opportunity to explore, in practical ways, the factors that get in the way of you writing as much or as well as you would like. Challenges to writing can include lack of confidence, limited understanding of the processes or techniques of writing, or difficulty managing your writing amid the other demands on your time and energy.

The course considers a wide range of blocks to writing, along with hints, techniques and strategies for overcoming them. In some cases, an opportunity to reflect on your own practice, or demystification about a key step in the writing or publishing process, can be enough to open the creative floodgates. The course is run by Trevor Day, a professional writer, trainer and writing coach. He is also Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund at the University of Bath
