About this workshop
Feedback has become the subject of increased discussion in HE, as NSS scores are analysed institutionally. Recently, the NUS had also selected feedback as an important area in facilitating student development. This interest has generated several inquiries on this topic and in this short interactive workshop, participants will examine andĀ discuss a variety of ways that can be used to enhance student learning by the use of feedback in and outside the classroom, and within the context of limited time availability.
At the end of the workshop, participants would have;
- Identified different types of feedback that can enhance subject learning & learning skills
- Analysed when feedback is able to enhance learning and when it is not
- Discussed ways to give feedback to improve student performance & their learningĀ
- Developed a rationale for feedback-supported teaching
- Reviewed how to incorporate quick ways to give feedback in their teaching when time is limited
