This workshop, part of the Leading the Enhancement of Assessment Practices (LEAP) project, will comprise a number of colleagues from across the University giving a series of presentations highlighting the different approaches they have taken. This will be followed by a market place event where you can explore some of the tools and technologies available to support you in enhancing assessment practices.
Presentations will cover Rubrics, Group Work, Using Quizzes and e-Portfolios and Peer Marking while the market place will highlight uses for a range of tools including:
- Mahara e-portfolio tool
- Rubrics in Moodle
- Grademark and Turnitin
- Online digital presentations
- The Moodle workshop
- Using the quiz tool
- Using mobile devices for assessment and feedback
- Group work activities
- Assessment criteria
The LEAP project is led by Kyriaki Anagnostopoulou, Head of e-Learning, Learning & Teaching Enhancement Office (LTEO).
