Course description

Undertaking a PhD can be a challenge for many students. This workshop is aimed at supervisors who, as part of their role, may be approached by students experiencing distress.

This interactive session will help you to identify your student's need whilst working within the limitations and responsibilities appropriate to your role.

  • Refer on to the appropriate team / external service
  • Reinforce confidentiality, boundaries and reporting
