Prize Fellows Research Symposium Well Received

WillemThe University’s Prize Fellows recently held an evening session to promote and share their research with the university staff and students as well as the local community.  The evening was attended by a bustling audience which included senior management from the university, students, members of the public and even the Mayor of Bath.    Highlights of the evening were a hydrogen powered demonstration and a display of the latest technologies in LED lighting.  Guests and participants all enjoyed seeing the diversity of the university’s research on display in one place and some connections for future collaborations were made.  This was in keeping with the ambition of the University that creating the prize fellowship program should enhance the university’s early career researcher base and promote cross discipline collaborations. The prize fellows would like to thank Matt Dickson, of Social and Policy Sciences , and Willem Heijltjes, of Computer Science, for organising such a great event.  Those who missed the evening can  view the posters on level 2 of the library from the 1st - 31st July.
