University Awards and Prizes
The University has established a number of awards and prizes to encourage contributions to learning and teaching. Details of the awards and news of the people to whom they have been awarded can be found here.
Teaching Development Fund (TDF): details about the Teaching Development Fund together with reports on the projects that have been funded.
A limited amount of funding is available to enable staff to attend external learning and teaching events for professional development purposes, eg Higher Education Academy Subject Centre seminars or the Association for Learning Technologies (ALT) annual conference. The monthly Learning and Teaching Bulletin which you receive via email lists a wide range of external courses that may be of interest to you. If you wish to apply for funding you should contact Academic Staff Development (email: acdev@bath.ac.uk) in the first instance.
