e-Learning can be defined as "learning facilitated and supported through the use of information and communication technology" (JISC, "Effective practice with e-Learning", HEFCE 2004).

How to keep up to date with e-learning
There are a number of ways to stay informed of developments in e-learning at the University of Bath. One of the best ways is through e-learning news area on this web site.
However, we also provide a "heads up service" which pushes information through different information channels. All you need to do is subscribe. For instance;

The e-Learning Team
The e-Learning team effectively combines a wide range of skill sets. Ranging from educational software developers to learning technologists. The team is located in a central hub in Wessex House, while there are also people based in some departments.
