WordPress

WordPress initially began life as a blogging system, but has since evolved into a full content management system, having been boosted by the range of plugins, widgets and themes now available.

The University WordPress blog system at blogs.bath.ac.uk now hosts a large number of blogs, ranging from those for students to reflect on Placement learning to service update blogs and research project websites.

WordPress.com offers more by way on functionality, but is just as effective in disseminating key messages and encouraging student reflection.
