How to photocopy an Identity Card

From the home screen, select Copy:

Place your item in the top left corner of the glass and close the lid.

Select the Others button:

Select Card Shot:

Select On and then Start:

The photocopier will scan the first side. Once completed, the screen will display the following message:

"Place next original. Press [Start]"

 Lift the copier lid, and turn your item over, placing it as before and close the lid.

 Select Start again to scan the other side of the card.

Once scanned, select Read-End:

Your copy will appear in the following format:

How to photocopy two images to one page (e.g. Passport & Visa)

From the home screen, select Copy:

Place the first image on the glass.

Use portrait orientation for passports:

Close the lid.

Select the Others button:

Select Multi Shot:

Select 2in1 from the following screen and press Start:

The photocopier will scan the first side. Once completed, the screen will display the following message:

"Place next original. Press [Start]"

Don’t select the Read-End option yet or your print job will finish!

Lift the lid and place your second image on the glass, placed as before.

Close the lid.

Select Start again to scan the second image.

Once scanned, select Read-End to produce your copy:

How to reduce copy size from A3 to A4

The photocopiers will automatically detect the size of the original and use the appropriate paper size (A4 or A3).

If your original is larger than A4 but you would like an A4 copy size, you can use Copy Ratio to reduce the image to fit A4.

From the home screen, select Copy:

Select Copy Ratio from the control screen options menu:

The Copy Ratio default is 100%

To reduce from A3 to A4 size, select the 70% option:

You can also adjust the ratio manually if you wish, using the plus and minus buttons on this screen.

Select Start to produce your copy.

 

Lightening or darkening a copy

To lighten or darken a photocopy, you can select the Exposure option from the Copy menu.

Use the   buttons as desired:
(1 = lightest, 5 = darkest)

How to photocopy double-sided

From the home screen, select Copy:

Place your item face down on the glass. Ensure that the top left corner lines up with the green arrow:

Close the lid.

Select 2-Sided Copy:

Select 1-Sided > 2-Sided and select OK:

A green tick will appear against the 2-Sided Copy selection.

Select Start to scan.

The photocopier will scan the first side. Once completed, the screen will display the following message:

"Place next original. Press [Start]"

Don’t select the Read-End option yet or your print job will finish!

 

Turn to the next page/s you wish to scan, place the item as before.

Close the copier lid.

Select Start to scan the second side.

 

Once scanned, select Read-End. Your double-sided copy will print out.

Repeat this process if you have more pages to photocopy.

 

 

How to photocopy double-sided using Document Feeder

Place originals into the document feeder as shown:

From the home screen, select Copy:

Select 2-Sided Copy:

sharp-copy-2sideselect

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select 2-Sided -> 2-Sided and press Start:

sharp-copy-2to2side

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The original will go through the document feeder and your copy will be produced.
 

Double-sided copying options:

1-Sided -> 2-Sided = Your originals are single-sided but you want double-sided copies
2-Sided -> 2-Sided = Your originals are double-sided and you want double-sided copies
2-Sided -> 1-Sided = Your originals are double-sided but you want single-sided copies
